I will be celebrating my second year anniversary as a lawyer on the 29th. It also officially marks the start of my third year as a lawyer.
Ehem.
No notables this year. I spent half of this year preparing for my wedding and adjusting to married life. I think I only have about fifteen to twenty new clients which is a bad record for me. I had two engagements that were relatively dangerous and controversial but thankfully nothing of much has happened.
I am not satisfied with my performance because I feel that I have rested on my laurels after the much satisfying first year.
I think I was too lazy, too kampante with my Tatay's connection, too affected with my personal life, too pabaya with my emotional, mental, financial and physical health and too tamad to bill correctly.
Slacker. That is what I think my second year as a lawyer was.
Third year would be my banner year.
It will be mark with:
1. consistent and strategic studying.
2. landmark cases.
3. appreciative and well-paying clients.
4. trail blazing legal performance.
5. publication in reputable journals.
6. seminars and conferences
And every year thereafter I will outdo myself :)
