Manic Monday

Yesterday, I did not attend the baptism and the thanksgiving party that I was supposed to go to.

I broke my resolution to frequently socialize. :)

I am happy last night that I did not quarrel with my husband. We had visitors but he slept early. I thought he was angry and I wanted to fight with him but I restrained myself. Instead I took some calming stuff, stared in space and listened to music on Youtube. I felt A OK. Thankful for the discovered remedies. :)

Today is Uncle Peter's birthday. Hopefully my husband will attend the party even though they serve pork. Strictly, we should not be eating in that party because the dish used may have been in contact with other utensils that was used in serving pork.

Halal does not just mean chicken. It means the right preparation of the food that a Muslim partakes.

I just realize that I am not wearing my hijab correctly. ;(

Being a Muslim is hard.

HEARING/WORK/ETC.

Hopefully, I will be able to attend the Rotary District Assembly on Friday and Saturday. Atty. Fati will be getting married on Saturday though. Alvin is also taking the promotional exam on Sunday. Busy much. :)

Only one hearing for me this week except if Tatay will ask me to sub for him. Today I will be assisting the client of the office in mediation.

I need to do my due diligence before I can file any motion or pleading in one case. This case has long been consulted but the client was only able to pay last Friday. I realize that I should not get any papers or documents from the client unless and until the hiring of my services are finalized so as not to give them the impression that the work has officially commenced.

I will be filing one case too.:)

Allah please give me more personal clients and increase my patience and endurance. Amen :)
