Contrary to popular belief that I have zero idea in navigating the kitchen I can actually proudly say that I have perfected a number of recipes.
Sadly, none of them are my husband's favorite whose regular fare are vegetables, vegetables and more vegetables. ;0
My first recipe is Tuna in Lemon.
This one is basically tuna fried in butter with calamansi. the secret is cleaning the tuna thoroughly and melting the butter without burning it.
1 clove garlic crushed
half a kilo of tuna steak
1 magnolia gold butter
8pcs. calamansi.
Soy sauce for taste.
Wash the tuna in water with a little bit of vinegar to remove the slime and the icky taste. Set aside.
Melt butter over slow fire. Once melted, add the garlic until brown.
Fry the tuna in butter. Add the juice of the calamansi. Make sure you use a strainer. Season with soy sauce when the fish is about to cook to avoid burning. ;)
Serve the fish with the melted butter. Yumyum.
Just one recipe for now. I will try cooking a jerk chicken next next Sunday and I will update you about it.
