Impeachment and lawyering

Again, I have not regularly posted a blog entry.

I woke up at 12:35 am and studied for my hearings later today.

I finished rereading the case files of two cases and read Tatay's case file which I will be handling tomorrow as his collaborating counsel. I still have two case files to go since I will be handling five cases today.

It's the second day of the impeachment trial. I had a blast listening to the prosecutors and the defense counsels. Listening because I was busy organizing the files of today's hearing and the television was in my father's office.

Great way to review one's knowledge of the law and a way to remind oneself not to slack in case preparation.

It also reminded me that the impeachment is on a league of its own and is a political process.

It made me think that zeroing on the legal issues raised on the impeachment trial would be a good topic for Tatay's radio program next Sunday but I realized that it would also be Lolo's Lukas Lalaw. :)

I still owe myself a blog entry on Pokwang's a Mother Story and my current panic attacks which is kind the weird.
