"Hon, magkaroon kaya tayo nang allowance?" I asked the husband.
"Tama yan wa! Tama talaga yan! Maganda yan wa!" came his emphatic reply.
I rue the hour that I thought of this saving measure!
Sabi nga ni Ate Eva, "Ah kaya ka kontrahon ni Sir Alvin kung sa pakuripotay lang Ma'am e."
Thus for the past two days now I had been singing the same tune, "Hon libreha ko bi."
I always spend in excess of my allowance. :(
Alvin, on the other hand is having a heyday reminding me that he does not spend for anything except his unmentionables and tongue in cheek texted that he will pay for my dinner during his pass.
Argh! I hate losing!
Truth be told though. This plan might just work.
1. I am actively monitoring our spending.
2. It effectively lessens my spending.
Hopefully in a few months we will no longer be in the red and maybe just maybe we can actually call ourselves rich.
As for now, the husband is grinning and I am cursing this BS saving scheme! :)
