MBA Highlights

I had fun in class today. I am such a nerd!

I felt like a kid when we tried to make a building from straws, masking tapes, bbq sticks and a cardboard covered with flashy materials.
Our professor finished her MBA from the UK. Her presence reminded me of my dream to study abroad. Oh and I found out that the University of Leicester is pronounced as Lester and not Liechester. :)

As usual while I was listening to the lecture I was also doing something else. I sent a text message to the husband asking him what are his goals for 2012. He responded that he wants only one thing. He said better to focus than to have a lot of goals. Ay sorry kuya! Ako maraming gusto. :) But he does have a point.

I also came in late today. I overslept. I had to wake up the husband very early and totally forgot to reset the alarm. I guess I am still not used to having a husband. :)

Back to my double tasking. So there I was listening to the reports of my classmates on leadership assessment and I thought: In my case what would be my assessment points as a lawyer?

I decided to draft one which is kind of weird doing but those were the only matters that I think were quantifiable.

I also decided to rename this blog since I rarely mention the husband. :)

Anyways, I wanted to write a few things that I learned today.

1. Having a fix allowance could really help in saving.

2. A vision must be clear.

3. It pays to discuss a lot of things with the husband.

4. I am not sure if the burger steak is halal but it really taste yummy with a lot of hot sauce!

5. Minatamis na saging (boiled bananas, coconut milk and sugar) is yumyum galore!

6. Hope.

7. Never give up on people they can and will always bounce back.

8. Be kind ;0
