I survived.

Yesterday, I almost had a meltdown or the what the FH calls "nagmaoy."

Suffice to say I was overwhelmed and I wanted to give up. Luckily a deluge of help and things falling in the right place changed a lot of things for my preparation and I survived.

I realized that the wedding is just a celebration and the point of
the occasion is to formalize our marriage. Thus, I need to relax, enjoy and get a grip.

Nothing much to say except I got a something blue from Gen who does not edit herself with me I always tell (sumbong) to J :) They say that you have to wear something borrowed, something old, something new and something blue during your wedding.

Gen, who will not be coming to my wedding fret and said that I should be wearing something from her. The something from her is something blue. Thanks Gen!

Last Monday, I sat on the side of the road and listened to a rally against oil deregulation and taxes on oil. I realized that those who opposed the passing of the oil deregulation law then was right. The law did not lower the price of oil at all.

I also realized that I am marrying a policeman. The police usually use a different tool for analy
sis of the Philippine society but I am hopeful that since Alvin is a Magi, a Muslim and the son of Ama, he has a different view on things.

But with the way things are going maybe he can reawaken the activist in me and that this fist with now colored nail polish will be raised with vigor and vigilance again :)
